WINTER’S BREATH BREATHES AGAIN

Winter morning in coldness wrapped,

Stark and bare of winter’s dress.

Plummeting thermometer sets the stage

That snow again will do its best.

Beautiful sunshine awakens the morn,

Threats of storms before the night.

If the forecast is correct

Inches of snow will be our plight.

Hints of spring have come and gone.

Nature tantalizing heart’s desires

Of warmer days and balmy nights

Roasting marshmallows over open fires.

The cold wind blows in freezing breath

Stark ground meets the skies.

But oh the beauty of a fresh new snow

May tomorrow greet our eyes.

Thank You God for another beautiful Sunday Sabbath in which to praise You.

Thank You Lord that You are worthy of praise.

Thank You Lord for placing music in my heart that I may lift up my song of praise unto You.
