TODAY’S ACQUAINTANCE TOMORROW’S FRIEND

I meet new people

Hear new stories

Wherever I go

Is never boring.

A party is

A chance to meet

Friendly smiles,

And lots to eat.

Laughter beckons

Under the tent,

Who to choose?

The ladies or gents?

To be self

In stranger realm

Step out, be bold,

Take the helm. 

You never know

A stranger’s face

May become a friend

In time and place.

A guest might be

Tomorrow’s pal

Who brings to you

Lots of Kale.

So beam a smile

Do not frown,

A new friend

May be found.

Thank You God for the opportunity to meet the friends of friends.

Thank You God for a beautiful sun shiny day.

Thank You God for memories of the past and for each day we live to create new memories.

Thank You God for the people You bring into my life.
