A poem a day for the next two weeks

Maybe a comment here and there peeks.

There is just no time with company at hand

And my stay-at-home vacation greatly demands.

So while my friend abides with me

My time is not quite so free!

So to enjoy these few days together

My writing will be light as a feather.

A daily poem my brain won’t shirk

It is my joy and not considered work.

But writing a blog? Time demands I don’t,

But that doesn’t mean some days I won’t.

It all depends on how late I start.

I’m having more difficulty with sleep to part.

So this is an example of such a late night

And only my poem is your plight.
