Another long day

And I’ve much to say.

But due to time

I write short lines.

My brain is fried,

Words are denied.

I have a sleepy head

That wants to fall into bed.

So as my energy drains

I will refrain

And from tomorrow

I will borrow.

What I can’t do today

Tomorrow I will find a way

To take time to write

After I sleep through the night.

Thank You God for this day.
