Tuesday June 27 2017  THE VERY ATTENTION OF THE HOLY GOD

My day has run out of hours.  The poems I wrote today will not be published because they were personally written for specific people.  However, I wrote several poems on Sunday so I will choose one for you to read tonight.

THE VERY ATTENTION OF THE HOLY GOD

Oh Father, that I can summon

The very attention of the Holy God!

The power that created the universe

As well as all earth’s sod!

How is it Lord that You listen

When I call out your name?

And that You wrap me in Your love

And forgive all sin and shame?

Thank You for Your patient Love

When I have no time to talk,

And even when I don’t listen

You come beside me and walk.

Draw me close and never let me go

That my heart pants after you.

And that I would know the most important time

Is when I’m in Your presence to renew.

Thank You God that You are with me all the time!

Thank You God that You always hear me call out to You.

Thank You for this awesome day and all the beauty I saw today.

Thank You that I can see.
