FEW WORDS TO SAY

Fewer words that I say

Will make this a better day.

Much to do, so little time,

Under the gun to compose my rhyme.

I long to write, truly I do,

But today I must not pursue.

On stay-cation, but in and out,

Work still calls without a doubt.

And so I focus on what’s at hand,

What I’ve promised my hours command.

Inching closer to the end,

Though often, time is not my friend.

No blog tonight, my deadline looms,

Have a wonderful day as it zooms!

Be ever so thankful that today

I have so few words to say!

Today several unexpected situations came up for which I had not been scheduled.  I have goals to reach each day in order to finish the albums on time.  You may wonder what the rush is.  We hope to hand deliver the finished books to my sister and we are racing to leave early enough in the year in order to bypass the winter storms of Canada.  We are not driving directly to California.  If I work diligently each day I should be able to beat the north’s early winter.  Look for shorter blogs the next few months.

The timer is set and I have limited myself to one hour from start to finish.  It usually takes me as much time to publish a blog as it does to write it.  That includes proofing, then proofing again, making changes, copying, printing and filing.

Thank You God for friends who sometime come along unexpectedly.

Thank You for the strength you give me each day.

Thank You for a wonderful bed in which to sleep.

And thank You Lord that I wake up early each morning without an alarm.  I LOVE IT!  AND I LOVE YOU MORE!

GOD BLESS YOU!
