A DISCOMBOBULATED DAY

So what do I write

Now the day is gone?

Perhaps I should compose

A beautiful song?

Or maybe tell about

My shopping trip

Or the icy sidewalks

Where I almost slipped.

When I’m searching ideas

What words should I say

About this very

Discombobulated day?

I will mention one thing

I don’t like to confess,

My day was so crowded

From the gym I recessed.

I was busy from morning

To this very night.

I would have had more time

But talking’s my plight.

The car dealership,

Then to Triple A,

And then to Best Buy

Made for such a long day.

And all of the rest

That had to be done

Kept me quite busy

During a day without sun.

Costco for chicken

And water for a trip

So that as I travel

I can take a nip.

But the upcoming trek

Is another story

To be told tomorrow

So I am not boring.

I must finish this poem

Because I’m a sleepy-head,

Then when morning comes

I can get out of bed.

No blog tonight

Due to my limited time

So I bid you goodnight

And hope your sleep is sublime.

Thank You Lord for this busy day and that I was able to accomplish what I needed to do.

Thank You for the strength You give me each day.

Thank You for always being by my side.

GOOD NIGHT AND GOD BLESS YOU.
