SO VERY BLESSED AM I

A table spread with bounty

Food to sate the soul,

A son and daughter in good stead,

Could there be a greater goal?

A warm house beckons me close

In sanctuary of peace,

And my cup runneth over

With a joy that does not cease.

What more can I say

On this Thanksgiving day,

To show my true gratitude

In an over abundant way?

For every single morsel,

And for words left unsaid,

I daily give thanks to God

As on His word I’m fed.

At His table I daily eat

In solitude of heart.

He prepares a table before me

As each day I start.

And so today I give thanks

For all He has bestowed.

On this day of national rejoicing

I am so thankful from head to toe.

Lord, thank You that You are my King.

Thank You Father that I am under Your care.

Thank You for blessings, both big and small.

Thank You for THANKSGIVING DAY!

Thank You Lord that it is You who is the creator of love.
