Sorry friends

My day got away

There will be

No blog today.

Just so you know

It must be understood

That all that’s happening

Is very good.

It involves guests

And lots of fun,

But to be ready

I must run.

The pots are boiling

The kitchen is needed

For those who will eat

And be well feeded. (My new made up word)

Dave is showering

And I must go dress,

Somewhat spur of the moment

I must confess.

So have a great weekend

And I’ll be back.

For a Monday blog

I will not lack.
