Saturday April 9 2016  OUR LAST NIGHT WITH REBECCA AND NEIL

ALL WHICH TODAY INSPIRED

Washing and packing and loading the car

Is what the afternoon holds.

And my daughter stepped up to the plate

Saying something quite bold.

That on this day of final hours

“NO BLOG MAY BE WRITTEN.”

But Rebecca gave me an idea,

One with which I am smitten.

“DO NOT WRITE YOUR BLOG MOTHER DEAR

INSTEAD, JUST PHOTOS POST.”

And because I am a guest

I suppose I should mind my host.

So below look long and hard

And imagine what words I could say.

And tomorrow I will be in the car,

And can write the entire day!

Of course there is more to be said

As our day was jam-packed.

Never once in our entire stay

For something to do, did wee lack.

So, as long as my battery will last

I will tell you all that transpired.

And will write from my heart

All which today inspired.

Thank You Lord for the opportunity of meeting a new kindred spirit named Anne.

Thank You for this final day of enjoying a family time together.

Thank You again God for peanut butter, especially honey roasted peanut butter.
